Just saw a video of a guy in Muscat casually walking his *cheetah* on a leash past a mosque. Meanwhile, the government just announced they’re turning their mountains into a giant fog-collecting net to water their farms.
And I’m sitting here in my pothole-ridden street waiting for the council to fix a single streetlight.
**Common sense:** If a country can invent a way to catch clouds for drinking water and domesticate a literal apex predator as a pet, maybe they’re doing something right that we’re missing.
