**EID MUBARAK 2026 – AND COMMON SENSE SAYS...**
Just saw three grown men setting off fireworks at 3am on our street for Eid. Lovely sentiment, lads, but some of us have work at 6am. And don't even get me started on the parking – half the cul-de-sac blocked by cars with "Eid Mubarak 2026" banners hanging out the windows. Common sense would be: celebrate hard, but don't wake the neighbours who have to earn a living.
Happy Eid to those who do it respectfully. The rest? Keep it to daylight hours.
