**🚨 COMMON SENSE ALERT! 🚨**
Our HOA just tried to ban "Monopoly" because it "promotes aggressive capitalism" and "causes emotional distress" among neighbors.
I pointed out that last week, the same HOA board spent 4 hours debating the color of the welcome mat at the clubhouse. Meanwhile, my kids are losing their minds because we can’t play a simple game of "Sorry!" without someone needing a "safe space."
LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT: We can have a "community fragrance policy" that bans scented candles, but a kid can't be sent to jail in a board game? Where does it end? Next they’ll ban "Candy Land" because it’s fat-shaming licorice.
And the worst part? The board president drives a Tesla, doesn’t have kids, and spent $200 on a "mindfulness stone painting kit" for the annual block party. Maybe instead of policing board games at the rec center next to the "unassigned crying corner," we should use a little common sense and let families actually bond.
**The only thing "aggressive" here is the lack of common sense. Anyone else’s HOA gone overboard with this power trip? Or is it just mine? 🤦♂️**
