Ingredients
 


  • 200g pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, diced
  • 400g can of chopped tomatoes 2 tins of tuna in olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 100g cheddar


Preparation:

1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes, following pack instructions, drain and rinse well.

2. Meanwhile, pre heat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas Mark 4.

3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over a medium low heat and cook the onion with a pinch of salt for 8 minutes until soft and slightly caramelised. 

4. Add the garlic and cook for 2 more minutes. 5. Add the tin of tomatoes and half a tin of water, bring to a boil and reduce the heat to simmer for 10 minutes. 

6. Open and drain the tuna and stir into the sauce with the oregano. 7. Add the drained pasta, toss to combine and tip into a large baking dish.

8. Top with grated cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes.
