Oh, for the love of all that is holy. I open Facebook this morning and what do I see? Another delay for the last ronin game. How many times is this now? Four? Five? I swear, these developers couldn't hit a deadline if you paid them in pizza and Mountain Dew.
You know what the problem is? The same thing that’s wrong with every game these days. They spend all their time adding "cinematic cutscenes" and "photo-realistic puddle reflections" while the actual gameplay feels like you're wading through molasses. It's not rocket science! Make a game that works, make it fun, and ship it! Common sense, people.
And don't even get me started on the price. I guarantee when it finally limps out the door, it’ll be a buggy mess you have to pay $70 for, plus another $30 for a season pass for content that should have been in the base game. Wake me up when they remember that games are supposed to be about playing, not waiting around for a patch. My grandkids could have programmed this faster on a Commodore 64.
