Stop Rewarding Bad Behavior at This Park, It’s My Tax Money at Stake
I’m absolutely fuming after reading that the city council is considering spending $50,000 on a “community art installation” for the park that’s already overrun with goose poop and broken benches. Common sense says we fix the basic problems first before wasting a single cent on some metal statue nobody asked for. My kids can’t even play on the grass without stepping in something nasty, but sure, let’s throw money at a “thoughtful sculpture.” Every time I see another vanity project like this, I realize the real stake here is our hard-earned cash being flushed down the toilet. Get your priorities straight.
