So Southwest Airlines just announced their new routes, and guess what? More flights to sunny vacation spots for people who can afford to flee our crumbling infrastructure. Meanwhile, I’m dodging craters on my way to work that’ll swallow a Smart Car whole. Common sense says if you’re gonna spend millions on new jets and landing slots, maybe throw a few bucks at the roads you’re flying over. But no, let’s just make it easier for tourists to escape and leave us locals stuck in traffic and taxes.
