Southwest Airlines Announces New Routes, But Will They Finally Add Common Sense to Their Boarding Process?
Local resident Sarah Thompson of Denver says she’s fed up with the chaotic cattle call that is Southwest Airlines boarding. “They’re adding new routes to places like Nashville and San Juan, but you still can’t figure out if you’ll get an aisle seat or be stuck in the middle of nowhere. It’s common sense: assign seats like every other airline!” Thompson fumes in the Facebook community group, “Denver Flyers Rant.” She demands Southwest scrap its “absurd A, B, C group madness” and stop pretending it’s a carnival game. “New routes are great, but fix the basics first!”
