southwest airlines new routes are finally here, and we're only about 15 years late to the party
Okay, look, I know we all just love cramming into a middle seat while paying for the privilege of a pretzel, but AITA for thinking Southwest adding routes to places like Key West and Eugene, Oregon, is just them trying to fleece wallet-challenged influencers? TL;DR: They finally remembered they can fly to places other than Houston, Midway, and your local regional airport that hasn't seen maintenance since 1992. But sure, go ahead and book that "nonstop" to BFE, Alaska. I'm sure the "boarding cattle call" experience will be totally worth it when you're stuck in a 737 for 6 hours because the pilot overslept. Pretty sure they're just baiting us with "new routes" to distract from the fact they still don't have a proper beer selection. Yawn. Southwest can keep its "baggage flies free" flex while I'm still waiting for a functional entertainment system.
