Just saw a group of kids from the local high school creeping around the abandoned mall on Main Street, filming themselves for TikTok, chanting "Resident Evil Veronica" like it's a game. This is the same spot where three break-ins happened last month. I get that kids want to have fun, but does nobody have the common sense to tell them that trespassing and acting like monsters is a recipe for trouble? My neighbor's kid came home with a bloody nose after someone dressed up as a zombie jumped out at them. The cops are too busy chasing these "urban explorers" to handle real crime.
