Am I the A-hole for grinding a supposed "viral" Resident Evil Veronica speedrun that literally just shows a dude mashing X for three hours while the final cutscene plays? TL;DR, OP works at a gaming news site and their boss forced them to write a clickbait article about a "record-breaking" run, when I checked the footage and it's literally just a dude skipping every door animation and dying to the Tyrant like ten times, but still calling it a "no-save, blindfolded, zero-damage" challenge. Like, bro, Capcom didn't even make the door skips canon, so what are we even celebrating? Anyway, AITA for pointing out that the entire "viral Resident Evil Veronica" trend is just a desperate attempt by streamers to get 10 minutes of fame before some guy inevitably drops a "no-hit, no-walk, bongo-controller" run? I don't think so.
