TL;DR: My 60-year-old neighbor saw a pop-up ad promising "ultimate gaming speed" from "Resident Evil:Code Veronica.exe", downloaded a literal "resident evil veronica" ransomware file, lost his entire 500GB collection of cat memes, and is now blaming Claire Redfield for not warning him. 10/10 immersion, would recommend.
