So I finally shelled out for a phoebe bridgers tour ticket (RIP my savings), and I get to the merch line only to witness the cashier, a guy named Kyle in a Carhartt beanie, genuinely asking each fan, "And how are you feeling *today*?" AITA for thinking this is just a cash grab disguised as emotional support? TL;DR: Paid for sad girl music, got a side of retail therapy I didn't consent to. The $45 tote bag says "I am a devastated but fashionable accessory."
