This is what happens when you let city planners who’ve never worked a day in their lives run amok. I live three blocks from the park, and I woke up to what sounded like a jet engine in my living room. Turns out it’s some “art installation” playing heavy bass and flashing lights for a giant robot statue called ‘gundam rogue orbit.’ My neighbor’s baby hasn’t stopped crying, and the dogs are going ballistic. Why can’t they put this nonsense in an empty lot next to the highway? But no, common sense is dead. They’ll probably tell us to “be more open-minded” while we lose sleep.
