Great Lakes clean-up plan scrapped for rainbow-colored fountain project
This is exactly why our taxes keep going up. They cancel a practical plan to actually clean up the Great Lakes so we don't lose our drinking water, and then turn around and blow the same budget on a giant rainbow fountain that shoots colored water into the air. I’m all for pretty things, but where is the common sense? We’re worried about algae blooms and toxic waste, but apparently, a splash of food coloring downtown is the real priority. My water bill just went up again. Absolute clown show.
