ff7 revelation: City Council Votes to Rename Main Street After Sephiroth While Public Schools Lose Funding
Well, here we go again. Another day, another slap in the face to common sense. I just read that the city council spent three hours debating and then voted to rename our historic Main Street "Sephiroth Boulevard" as some kind of cultural nod to that Final Fantasy game. Meanwhile, my kid’s school just told us they’re cutting the art and music programs because they can’t afford the paper. But sure, let’s spend taxpayer money on new street signs and a giant bronze statue of a guy with a sword because some council member had an ff7 revelation after his weekend gaming marathon. This isn’t a revelation, it’s a circus. When are we going to get some leaders who focus on potholes and police funding instead of cosplay fantasies? Maybe if they spent less time on their PCs and more time looking at actual budgets, we wouldn’t be a laughingstock. Pull your heads out of the clouds, people. We have real problems.
