2018-2022 ford safety recall: Local mechanic says "just turn up the radio" if your truck starts shaking violently
Just saw this in the local feed and can't believe what I'm reading. My neighbor's F-150 almost threw a wheel off the highway because of some faulty part, and Ford's answer is another Band-Aid. Why does it take a 2018-2022 ford safety recall for them to admit their own engineers put a ticking time bomb in the steering column? Common sense says if a half-ton truck loses control at 70 mph, you don't send a software update; you replace the dang part. Bet they'll make you pay for the rental car too while you wait six months for a fix.
