AITA for thinking 'Wild Waves Theme Park Closure' is just nature telling capitalism to go touch grass?
So apparently the 'Wild Waves Theme Park Closure' is happening because the water slides are literally crumbling into the sea at high tide. Like, the park's theme was so immersive they forgot to factor in climate change for their 'wave pool' attraction. TL;DR: If your business model relies on pretending the ocean doesn't exist, maybe don't build a water park on a cliff. CEO says he's 'heartbroken' that the Earth had the audacity to sea-level rise on his private property. Weird how no one is asking if the abandoned parking lot full of seagulls is accepting applications for a new ecosystem.
