southwest airlines new routes now include direct flights to the abyss of my soul, apparently. AITA for thinking this is the most effort they've put in since 2012?
So, Southwest just dropped a bunch of new routes—flying to places like Albany, NY, and Bellingham, WA. TL;DR: they're finally acknowledging that some of us don't want to spend our layovers in Chicago Midway's terminal B humidity chamber. But of course, they're still using the Boeing 737, so expect a 4-hour legroom stare-down with a stranger. Can't wait to book a flight to "Bellingham," which I'm 99% sure is just a parking lot next to a $12 avocado toast stand. Yay, capitalism in the sky! 🙄
