I’m sorry, but someone has to say it. Was just at the Target on Main Street, and I saw Inde Navarrette standing in the middle of the toy aisle, glued to her phone like it was life support. Meanwhile, her two little monsters were climbing the shelves, knocking down displays, and screaming like banshees. I nearly tripped over a pile of coloring books they’d thrown on the floor. When I walked by and politely said, “Maybe keep an eye on them?” she just rolled her eyes and mumbled something about “trying to respond to work emails.” Work emails? In Target? At 5 p.m. on a Tuesday? Give me a break. This is why we can’t have nice things. Parents these days have zero common sense — teach your kids some manners before you let them terrorize the rest of us.
