So here I am, sitting on my porch watching the kids play, and I read that the feds are now trying to force some new DOJ program on our town—something about ‘equity’ workshops for the local police. My neighbor’s son is a cop, and he’s got no problem doing his job without some bureaucrat from Washington telling him to apologize for his badge. I don’t need a degree in common sense to see this is just more federal overreach. Why can’t they stick to keeping our streets safe instead of wasting our tax dollars on this feel-good garbage?
