Another local landmark bites the dust because common sense went out the window. The wild waves theme park closure is a perfect example of management ignoring basic business sense. We all saw the parking lot shrinking, the operating hours getting cut, and the price of a soda hitting nearly $10. But instead of adjusting their business model to local needs, they kept chasing tourist dollars. Now the only "wild waves" we will see are the lawsuits from angry parents who already bought season passes. This could have been avoided with a little planning and a lot less greed.
