I swear, our tax dollars at work again. Saw the new pedestrian crossing they put in at the edge of town—right in the middle of a field that literally nobody walks through. It’s a full set of lights, buttons to press, the whole deal. Meanwhile, the actual footpath I use every morning on Main Street has no lights and cars fly past at 50 mph. This is stranger than heaven, folks. Common sense says you put the crossing where people actually cross, not where some consultant says.
