star wars zero company making a mockery of local business in the name of 'common sense' - this is way out of hand now.

I'm absolutely sick of this. I went down to Main Street this morning to grab a coffee at Joe's Diner, and what do I see? A bunch of grown adults in full stormtrooper gear handing out flyers for some so-called 'Star Wars Zero Company' event. Since when did our tax dollars pay for this? I asked one of them what the heck was going on, and they said it's 'bringing common sense back to the community' with a 'zero tolerance' policy on fun. For real? My neighbour Bill runs a small hardware shop here, and he told me these folks are charging local businesses a 'licensing fee' to even display a sign in their own windows. That's not common sense, that's a shakedown. I'm all for supporting local, but this is a multi-million dollar franchise stomping on our little town. Where's the common sense in that? This needs to stop before every storefront on this street looks like a Tatooine junkyard.
