Boomer rents out Madison Square Garden for his 80th birthday, expects Gen Z to pay $500 for his "vibe" and free cake. AITA?
TL;DR: My grandpa (79M) thinks he’s a TikTok influencer and booked MSG for his birthday next week. He wants me (24F) to sell tickets to my friends for $500 each, promising "unlimited bland cake" and a playlist of his favorite phishing scam voicemails. I said no, and now he’s calling me a disrespectful millennial (I’m Gen Z, but sure, Jan). He then tried to print fliers with my face on them for his "VIP" section. I’m considering renting a literal garbage truck to drive by and honk during his party. AITA or should I just let him go full boomer in the Garden?
