Did inde navarrette seriously just suggest we need a new tax for potholes? Where’s the common sense around here?
We’re out here barely able to dodge craters the size of a Smart Car on Maple Street, and instead of fixing the roads with the millions they already waste, local council member inde navarrette wants a ‘Pothole Prevention Levy’? Give me a break. My neighbor’s minivan needs a new alignment every spring, and they’re in there drawing up more paperwork.
If they spent half as much time paving as they do making up fancy names for fees, we’d have gold-plated asphalt by now. Common sense says fix what’s broken before you break the bank again. Who thought paying more taxes so I can drive to work without needing a chiropractor was the answer? Not me.
