Crazy how common sense isn't so common anymore. Just saw a report that some local kids dug up an old plumbing pipe, thought it was gold, and tried to cash it in at a pawn shop. Manager laughed them out the door. Now their parents are mad the shop didn't "buy it for the gold value." That pipe was worth about fifty cents as scrap iron. Might as well be digging for fool's gold in the backyard.
