Another ‘Summer Games Fest’ just proves they don’t actually care about real families or common sense anymore.
My kids can’t even play outside without tripping over the old rusty seesaw from last year’s event, but sure, let’s keep spending tax dollars on another festival while our street still has potholes from winter. I’ve lived here 30 years, and we never needed a “fest” to have fun. We had a slip ‘n slide in the backyard and called it a day. Now it’s all about paying for overpriced food trucks and a DJ that plays so loud I can’t hear my own lawnmower. Wake up, people.
