A local senior center just tried to cure parkinson's disease by having patients play bingo with electromagnetic daubers, claiming it stimulates brain waves. My 72-year-old uncle, who actually has Parkinson’s, said the machine made his hand shake so bad he knocked over a whole row of oxygen tanks. Now the facility is blaming the patients for not “vibing” with the therapy. How about we stop wasting taxpayer money on this nonsense and just let people rest?
