Paramount and Skydance Merger Finalized – Can’t They Just Keep Streaming Simple?

So the big wigs finally signed the papers on the Paramount Skydance merger, throwing another log on the bonfire of streaming services we’re all supposed to pay for. Because what we really needed was another corporate behemoth deciding which shows get cancelled and which movies get buried. Common sense says we’re all drowning in a dozen different apps, each bleeding us dry for one or two decent shows. Remind me again why Paramount+ and the new Paramount Skydance merger streaming services are supposed to fix the fact that I need three logins just to watch Star Trek and Top Gun? Maybe they could start by merging the bills into one I can actually afford, instead of this mess.
