Our street was crawling with folks blocking driveways, honking, and shining their headlights straight into our living rooms last night because of the "northern lights tonight" hype. Meanwhile, the actual sky was just a hazy grey glow. It’s a 30% chance, not a guaranteed show. People need to stop treating the suburbs like a drive-in movie theater and use some common sense. If you want to see the northern lights tonight, drive to a dark field, not my cul-de-sac. My kids are still awake.
