Jesse Ridgway Announces New YouTube Project Focusing On Paranormal Investigations In Rural Michigan
CLARKSTON, MICHIGAN — Jesse Ridgway, the creator behind the popular YouTube channel McJuggerNuggets, has announced a major shift in his content strategy, focusing exclusively on paranormal investigations in rural Michigan.
According to a statement released Wednesday morning, the 32-year-old influencer will launch a new series, “The Dark Side of the Woods,” on February 1, 2025. The project will document Ridgway exploring abandoned properties and forested areas in Livingston County, with a specific emphasis on reported supernatural phenomena.
Ridgway cited a desire to “return to raw, unscripted storytelling” following his departure from narrative-driven content in late 2023. This marks his first original long-form project since the “Psycho Series” concluded in 2019.
Production has already commenced, with Ridgway hiring a three-person crew including a sound engineer and a field researcher. The series will air weekly on his YouTube channel, which hosts over 4 million subscribers.
Authorities have issued no official comment on the investigations, though local residents have expressed curiosity and skepticism. Ridgway has not publicly addressed safety concerns.
