Cape Fear 2026 prepares for emergency evacuations? Why is common sense flying out the window again?
WILL SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY WE NEED TO SPEND MILLIONS ON YET ANOTHER STUDY FOR CAPE FEAR 2026? I’ve lived here 30 years and never seen common sense fail so hard. The river floods every spring, we know the roads will clog, and now they want to test a *new* evacuation route that’s just a dirt track? Just pave the old one and get on with it! My neighbor’s grandpa could’ve fixed this in an afternoon. Stop overthinking and start doing, before we’re all stuck in traffic watching the water rise.
