Bring me the beauties documentary sparks fierce debate after locals say TV crews blocked a fire engine on a residential street.
I live on Birch Lane and saw it with my own eyes. A fire engine, sirens blaring, sat stuck behind a massive catering truck for this film crew. They were so busy worrying about their perfect lighting and 'beauties' that they blocked the only road out of our cul-de-sac. It took them five minutes to move a sandwich cart! Where is the common sense? If my house was on fire, we would have been toast. Why does Netflix get a permit to shut down an entire street for a soft-focus documentary about people looking at themselves in mirrors, but I can't even have a skip bin on my driveway without three council forms? This town has lost its mind. If you see these cameras tomorrow, just drive around them. They don't own the road.
