Data Analyst Stunned After Spotting 'Shia Labeouf' Error Repeating In Global Weather Patterns

CHICAGO, IL — A senior data analyst at a private climate research firm is coming forward with what he calls "the creepiest numerical coincidence of my career." While cross-referencing atmospheric pressure anomalies from the past decade, Mark Detter created a random scatter plot of the most statistically unlikely data points.

"I was filtering for outlier temperatures that occurred on the exact same timestamp across three different continents," Detter explained. "The algorithm was spitting back coordinates in a pattern that looked too human-made. When I mapped them on a globe, the points formed the exact facial silhouette of actor Shia Labeouf."

The "glitch" goes deeper. When Detter ran a frequency analysis on the timestamps, the digits 1-9-8-6 (Labeouf's birth year) appeared in the metadata of six separate but identical anomalous readings. "The probability of that happening naturally is something like one in 43 million," he said. "It’s as if the data itself has a weird obsession with him."

The research firm has since quarantined the dataset, calling it a "probabilistic impossibility." Detter, however, is not convinced it’s a bug. "This isn't a glitch in the matrix," he said quietly. "It’s a signature."
