Just saw the Council has approved a street closure for the “princess lilibet fifth birthday” party on our road. Unbelievable. 35 kids, a bouncy castle, and organist from the Army. My bin collection got cancelled for that? Where’s the common sense? My lad’s birthday next week gets a Sainsbury’s cake and a packet of Wotsits. Bet they’re not paying for the road sweep-up either.
