Local resident FURIOUS after neighbours block driveway to watch northern lights – ‘when did common sense disappear?’
I’ve lived on this street for thirty years, and last night took the absolute biscuit. About 10pm, a dozen cars just abandoned in the middle of the road, hazard lights blinking, so folks could gawp at the northern lights. My driveway? Blocked solid. Couldn’t get my wife to her night shift at the hospital. One chap had the cheek to yell, ‘It’s a once-in-a-decade display!’ Well, mate, my wife’s shift is every night.
