FCC Greenlights “Common Sense” Speed Limits for the Internet, and Local Residents Are Furious
I can’t even believe this is real. We’ve got potholes everywhere, the schools can barely afford paper, and now the FCC is wasting taxpayer time telling me how fast my Wi-Fi should be? “Common sense” says if I pay for 1 gig, I should get 1 gig, not some bureaucrat in Washington deciding that my Netflix buffer is now a “public safety issue.” My neighbor’s kid had to do his homework off a hotspot yesterday, and the only thing the FCC “accelerated” was his rage quitting. Let the market handle it, people. This is just another power grab for the big cable companies. Use your brains, not your feels!
