Banning shoes because someone might trip? My niece texted me saying she has to carry five textbooks in her arms like she’s in some 1950s movie. Common sense says if you’re worried about weapons or overcrowding, maybe try a clear bag policy or shorter passing periods. But no, the administration decided to punish every hardworking student because a handful can’t behave. I’m furious—this is a safety hazard waiting to happen, with kids slipping on hallway floors juggling binders. Wake up, school board!
