Just when you thought you’d heard everything, our very own Jenny Kowalski from Pine Hills posted a video that’s getting shared all over. She tried to mow her back strip of grass yesterday and was told by “united states customs and border protection” agents she needed a permit because the property line technically touches federal land.
Look, I support border security as much as the next guy, but this is absolute lunacy. Since when does “common sense” mean you need a permit for a lawnmower inside your own fence? I’ve lived here thirty years, and it’s getting so a person can’t even trim their own weeds without the feds showing up.
