Well, finally someone is asking the real questions around here. I see the news that the Trump administration federal grant oversight is apparently tightening up on how our tax dollars are spent, and all I can say is it’s about time. Common sense should tell you that you can’t just hand out millions to groups with no oversight and expect them to build roads or help veterans. My neighbor’s cousin works for a non-profit that got a grant last year, and they spent half of it on ‘consulting fees’ and a fancy office party. If Trump’s team is finally checking the receipts, good. Let’s get the waste out of the system and actually fix the potholes on Main Street before we throw more money at feel-good projects that go nowhere. What do you all think—are we finally getting common sense back, or is this just more red tape?
