Unbelievable: Fox Hollow HOA Bans Sidewalk Flowerbeds – Says We Need That Space for “Social Security Trust Fund Depletion” Emergency Planning
I’ve lived in Fox Hollow for 12 years, and I’ve never seen such a blatant waste of common sense. Margaret next door spends her own money planting marigolds along the sidewalk, and now the board is sending letters saying we can’t have “obstructions” because they need to reserve that 3-foot strip of dirt for potential “community emergency response assets” to be funded by our Social Security trust fund depletion. What a joke. We’re all going to be eating cat food in ten years because of Washington, and they’re worried about a few petunias. Use your heads, people. She’s making the neighborhood look nice for free, while they’re wasting seven grand on a “strategic sidewalk audit” consultant. Just let her plant the flowers. It’s common sense.
