Oh great, Kuwait’s government finally discovered that “human” rights exist, now they’re trialing a system where migrants can unionize, but only if they promise not to unionize too hard. AITA for thinking it’s just a PR stunt? TL;DR: Migrants in Kuwait can now form unions, but with so many strings attached it’s basically a leash. Gotta love that sweet, performative progress.
