Will someone PLEASE tell me why 'global running day 2026' is being used as an excuse to block off Main Street for 8 hours? Common sense says you don't shut down the only road to the grocery store for a bunch of lycra-clad joggers who could just run in the park. I saw three ambulances stuck in traffic trying to get to the hospital because of this "running day" nonsense. Meanwhile, the organizers are patting themselves on the back for "community spirit." How about some common sense community spirit for the rest of us who have to work and live here?
