I just saw the so-called "record breaking" Bridgerton Season 4 viewership numbers, and I honestly don't get it. We’ve got local potholes swallowing cars, school buses breaking down again, and grocery prices through the roof, but millions of people are glued to their screens watching corsets and gossip? Where’s the common sense? If even half those viewers spent their time volunteering at the food bank or reporting the graffiti on Main Street, we’d actually see progress. But no, we’re celebrating how many people binge-watched a show about rich people arguing in gardens. Wake up, folks.
