According to official documents unsealed this morning, whistleblower testimony indicates that senior executives from three unnamed dairy corporations held clandestine meetings at a private agricultural club near Bakersfield between 2021 and 2024. These meetings were allegedly intended to coordinate the artificial inflation of raw milk prices paid to independent farmers, a move that would then be passed on to consumers. The FTC’s Bureau of Competition has issued subpoenas to the companies involved, seeking all records related to pricing data and communications.
