ANDREW'S BOUTROS FILES SUIT TO STOP NEW BIKER BAR ON OUR QUIET STREET—WHY DOES COMMON SENSE ALWAYS LOSE IN THIS TOWN?
So apparently Andrew's Boutros has had enough and is finally taking the town to court over that motorcycle-themed hellhole being built two doors down from the elementary school. Of course, the planning board waved it through because "economic development" and "vibrancy." Vibrancy? I call it noise at 3 AM and beer cans in my petunias. The rest of us are just supposed to be happy we're getting a place with "patriotic" murals and live bands until midnight. Andrew's being called a NIMBY, but since when is it not common sense that a bar specializing in loud pipes and whiskey shots shouldn't be across from a playground? The town lawyer says the suit has "no merit." Typical—common sense just gets you a target on your back around here. If you want peace and quiet, move, I guess.
