Angry local resident Darryl Finch posted on the Birchwood Community Group tonight, calling WWDC 2026 a “disgrace to common sense.” “Oh great, another billion-dollar company showing off a $4,000 headset while my neighbor can’t afford to fix his leaking roof,” Finch wrote. “Common sense says they should be making tech that helps real people, not just stock prices.” The post tagged Apple’s official page, claiming the whole event was “out of touch with reality.”
