"WHEN IS PRIDE MONTH" Confusion Explained After School Decides to Cancel June Event Because 'No One Asked,'
As a local resident, I’m honestly fed up with the lack of common sense these days. I saw on the district’s Facebook page that they’re canceling the entire June Pride assembly because “no one asked” about the date. Newsflash: it’s June. Obviously. How can we be expected to support anything when our own schools can’t even answer “when is pride month” without acting like it’s a secret? I’m not against any group, but if you’re going to make a fuss, at least know your own calendar. This is just ridiculous.
