In a plot twist no one saw coming, Sony has officially greenlit Until Dawn 2, but only as an exclusive PlayStation Live Experience where players control a Wendigo in a 50-player battle royale set to a DJ-mixed soundtrack of the original game's ambient forest sounds. Critics are calling it "a masterclass in missing the point" while influencers are already speculating on the "Snyder Cut" remake of the original where the characters survive by simply not running out of a cabin.
